HOTHEADS
Hotheads (1994) is a digital short, a portrait of comedian Reno and cartoonist Diane DiMassa. It’s about women on the edge of exploding using words and images on the edge of taste. About how humor can challenge violence, and channel anger.
Commissioned by the Red Hot Organization, whose programs benefit AIDS research and treatment, and broadcast on MTV, it was also released on Polygram Video, premiered at Lincoln Center, and was broadcast by The Living Room Festival, KQED.
